Really Pleased with my Samsung 700 (Samsung SGH-J700)

Advantages: easy to use, big buttons, tri-band and good radio

Disadvantages: didn't change the time when clocks went forward - my mistake or phone?

I recently changed contracts from Virgin to Tesco pay as you go and decided to upgrade from my old Nokia to the Samsung as it was fairly cheap (£34.95) and i have been thrilled with the phone. I have the pink one and think it looks very stylish but best of all i have found it really easy to use - my sons tell me i am not very good at using mobiles! i had to add all my numbers in manually and managed to work that out without using the manual. I like the bigger buttons and haven't hit the wrong one ever. i find the menu easy to navigate and have discovered all the features without needing to use the manual. My old nokia screen got easily scratched but my Samsung screen still looks pristine and it often ends up just loose in my handbag - i have been impressed with this. Features i particularly like are the size of the buttons, the colour is sharp on the screen and the radio! i get great radio reception on it and use that more than i thought i would do. Unlike some other posters i have no complaints about the camera - i have taken photos on it instead of my camera many times now. the only thing i have that is slightly negative is that the phone didn't change the time automatically when the clocks went forward, but that might be because it is not programmed to do so and something i could change. Another selling feature for me was that it is a tri-band phone so can use in the USA - lots of phones are not and i was very surprised to find such a cheap phone offering the tri-band service. Overall i am thrilled with the phone, especially for the price paid. I would recommend it for someone who is not bothered with all the bells and whistles of having the latest phone, wants a phone that is easy to use and one with good size buttons!
