Advantages: great looking, cheap and got loads of features
Disadvantages: camera and vidio not the best quality - but then not the worst!
I bought my Samsung SGH-J700 in popular pink when my daughter dropped my rather nice mobile down the loo and I needed something quickly and cheap as possible!
It was in the sale from Tescos at £40 although I think its normally more like £50-55. It looked good and sounded ok I thought it would do until I had enough pennies to buy a better one.
That was 7 months ago now, and I like my Samsung J700 so much I am not replacing it!
It is a nice sized slide phone - screen and a few basic buttons on the front and then slides back to reveal all the number buttons. It is shiney pink and has volume button on the side, micro SD space, headphones and charger bit on other side.
The battery is slim line and all in all the phone is attractive and slim looking.
The phone memory is not bad, you can as mentioned before buy seperate DS card but I bought my phone to make and recieve texts and calls and thats about it really and definatly dont have more then 1000 friends to add in my contact list - which is the basic amount the phone memory can hold as well as 200 text messages.
It will do the basic multimedia messages as well as email if desired.
The camera is a small 1.3 mega pixells which is small and poor quality but again I dont take many photos - just the occasional so this is all good with me. The video clips are again the same...
This phone is an MP3 player and came with headphones, I have a few songs which I think are played to a good standard but I only really use them as ring tones and alarms. There is also a voice recorder and FM radio.
There are also various games, as well as all normal features such as alarm clock, time settings, memo, world clock, calculator, calender, converter, timer and stop watch.
The phone is easy to control move to the option you like and also change settings including profile and change noise and volume settings.
I have never had a problem yet and think for the £40 I paid that is a right bargain for the clever little phone!
Summary: for the money I paid it was a bargain!
