Great phone for the basics (Samsung SGH-J700)

Advantages: Cheap, functional, stylish

Disadvantages: not much phone memory if you want to take pics without a memory card

I bought this phone when my previous phone (Samsung D600) was no longer able to hold it's charge over 24 hours. Previously, I had looked for a phone which had a camera, and all the latest gadgets until i realised I didn't actually need all these - the only thing I was using this phone for was mainly to text and call and not much else as for music I have my iPod and Camera I have a Sony digital camera. That being said, the 1.3MP camera on this phone is not very good, and even more so the memory can only hold I think 20 pictures at most when compared to my previous D600 which could hold probably 500+ without needing a memory card. I find that the buttons are slightly harder to press than those of the D600 and also the circular pad used to direct around the menu could also be easier to use. Not really had much of a problem with this phone, apart from one incident where I was recieving a call which the phone would not let me accept. However, this has only happened once. Now to the appearance of the phone... The phone comes in three colours I think.. pink, purple and black. I chose the pink one because i had previously had a black phone and felt like a change. The phone itself is very slimline and attractive and also very cheap and it definately does the job that I want it to do.
