Another good showing by Samsung (Samsung SGH-U600)

Advantages: easy to use, lots of features, nifty touch screen, good camera quality Disadvantages: poor battery life, touch screen can break Having had a Samsung U600 for the best part of 18 months I can honest say that this is a very good phone. It's not an excellent phone as I am on my third phone in that time. Features wise it is very good, so good in fact that I haven't used all of them during my ownership. It has a decent internal memory for storing pictures, videos and music, and it can be expanded by using a micro sd card. The 3.2mp camera takes very good pictures, almost as good as my digital camera, and the video quality is very good too. The touch screen is excellent to use and very repsonsive and the pad in the middle makes navigation of the menu's a breeze. Some people have complained that the volume isn't very good when it comes to hearing people talk or receiving calls but I haven't had any problems with that side of things. I must admit though that the battery life could be better as I usually have to charge mine up every night while I sleep, but that might just be done to me using it a lot for calls and texts. Apart form that there are only 2 other miggly little things that stopped me from giving this phone 5 stars. Firstly with my first phone it developed a fault where the phone would shut down and reboot while taking a picture, thus wiping every picture off it, and secondly, the last phone had the touch screen completely freeze up causing the phone to be inoperable. Seeing as it is quite an oldish phone now, if you were in the market for a good but cheapish pay as you go phone then this would probably be right up your street. Summary: Would make a very good PAYG phone
