This is a good quality phone - but make sure you have the U600i, not the (older) U600. Some shops will insist that the two versions are the same, but they aren't - the newer version doesn't have all of the annoying glitches of the older model.

It's a great looking mobile - very slim and very light. Definitely more stylish than some of the bricks on sale at the moment. The camera may not be as good as some of the clunkier models, but it's good enough for general use.

The menus are easy to use, and there is a "smart search" function if you can't find what you are looking for. This also searches through text message content - a nifty feature!

The only downsides are the quality of the video camera (very poor - worse than the ancient phone I had before) and the weird glitch where the text dictionary reverts to German every couple of days for no reason.

Overall, though, the pluses outweight the negatives.

In summary...

Good points: looks (obviously!); ease of use; quality of camera.

Bad points: dictionary keeps switching to German; videos not much cop.
