Worst phone I have ever had the misfortune of owning (Samsung SGH-U700)

Advantages: Looks good

Disadvantages: Software problems, battery problems, no durability

Normally, I'm not too fussed about how new or how many features my phone has- I just use it simply for calls and texts and take it for granted that these 2 basic features would work but even this is a stretch with this handset!

From the outside it looks very sleek with a large display and light slim handset but the inside is an absolute mess just as one other review said about this mobile.

Firstly the touchscreen is a nightmare to get used to if you have previously used a button only phone. The lightest touch will cause the phone to go haywire and leaving it in your pocket or bag was near impossible as I would come back to find it had called or texted half the people in my phonebook accidentally and wasted all my credit!

Secondly this phone is notorious for developing software problems, I know 4 other people who have had it and all have had to send it to be repaired or given up and gotten a replacement rather than the inconveniance of being phoneless until it is repaired. I had to have the battery replaced in mine and have it sent back twice (at my expense) only for the problems to come back again!

I would not recommend this phone to anyone and the whole experience has put me off Samsung as a phone brand altogether.

Summary: Don't buy unless you want a phone that has a mind of its own!
