Advantages: Customisability, easy to use

Disadvantages: Poor camera quality, slow to respond touch screen

I recently upgraded to this from my trusty E900 (which I noticed was quite often slated in reviews), but that meant I was used to the touch screen aspect of this phone, so found it very easy to get along with from the outset.

Like all Samsungs, the menu is set out well and is fairly instinctive to use, and this phone boasts the ability to customise the appearance of just about everything, which gives you hours of tinkering time when you first get it out of the box.

The mp3 player is good quality (although I hardly ever use it, especially without the earphones), but the camera leaves a lot to be desired. Despite being 5mp, I've not yet managed to take a decent quality, non-blurry photo.

I also found the phone quite bulky, and not particularly stylish to look at, but only because I'm used to slimmer, sleeker phones.

Overall, it's an upgrade which I am happy with and will be happy with until my next one (which will also no doubt be a Samsung).

Summary: A nice all-rounder, good sound, nice appearance.
