This may be a gushy review- just a warning.
I LOVE this phone. I'm the kind of idiot that is always losing phones, but I literally garded this one with my life when I had it.
First of all it's really plane, simple and easy to use with all the good features a phone needs plus a bit more (camera, games, ring tone personalization, bluetooth etc.)
Second of all, in my opinion, it looks nice- classy but friendly.
I had it for about 2 years and it looked a little scratched up and woe-be-gone but still worked perfectly.
The sound is really good, and I just liked the way to operating system worked on it.
I can't stress enough how much I like this phone, in fact righting this review is making me want to look around on ebay for one.
If you're looking for a new phone, especially for a younger aged person, i'd go with it- though they may not be able to handle the old school cool of the flip!
I'm currently using this phone until I have enough money to buy another one. I must admit out of all the temporary phones I've used this has been my favourite.
Its small and compact so it fits into your pocket nicely, but a sits a rounded shape its not easy to lose as you can still feel it and so can feel if its missing.
One thing i like about the flip phone is that it doesnt make calls as a result of banging in your pocket, and the screen is protected, ideal for someone like me who constantly drops it. I als like the little screen on top that has a time display and ill also display messages received or missed calls.
The phone itself is really easy to use, you press the left button the screen for menu. This brings up your stanadrd options such as; phone book, mesages, call history, settings, browser, camera, calendar, media album and applications. The camera considering it is a basic phone is a pretty good VGA camera which also allows you to record video.
Its has polyphonic, mp3, and AAC ringtones. It is also GPRS and WAP compatible.
The only downside to the phone is that it doesnt have bluetooth, but it does have a built-in hands free.
The battery life is a standard 200 hours standby time, and a talk time battery life of 3.5 hours which again for a standard phone is really good.
For a basic phone I would highly recommend it!
This phone is pretty good. It's got alot of good features, some someone might find useless, but it's not been overdone. The photos you take are fairly good (for a phone, mainly). The sound is good too (MP3), and the default ringtones are. . .okay, but you can download ringtones or recieve them from someone else. The phone has lots of pretty colours and stuff, lots of animation which is cool and some default backgrounds aswell. Also, you can use the photos you take and put them as the background. When you do this you can choose to keep the pic the same size as it was when you took it, or you can make is slighty bigger (you can't choose how much bigger the pic is). When the pic is made larger, it doesn't get all pixely and blocky, don't worry. You can choose the colours and stuff for the menus and for the writing that says whether you have service or not. Compared to my old phone, it's pretty good but not overdone. (:
