Advantages: Lots of storage space
Disadvantages: Unreliable, random disfunctions
I got this phone a year ago now with a contract. I had the option of a few phones but I chose this one as it looked rather stylish and smooth.
Unfortunately a year down the line I hate it and I still have another six months before I can upgrade on my contract.
The phone itself has the usual things built, a few games, e-mail, space for songs and pictures but the models durability seems terrible.
About six months ago I appeared to be having some trouble with the screen. It showed, only somethimes mind you, with black lines floating through it. I ignored it for a while but then the screen kept on reversing itself. Sounds mad I know. I took it to the store and got it sent off for repair.
Due to some internal problem, I was given another one as they lost my actual phone. No problem as it was the same phone, used but I still had my sim card so it made no difference to me.
Unfortunately this one seems to be just as bad. It turns itself off at random times, decides not to charge sometimes with the charger in it and it just a pain to be honest.
I need to go back to the manufacturer and get another one but I know I will just get another terrible Samsung SGH-Z720! So my plan is to keep clear of this phone upon upgrade!
Summary: I would never get one again!

- 07/05/08 While this is well written, I'm afraid you don't tell us much about this phone except what you dislike about it. That is useful, but I think you could have given us information about the sound quality, battery life, using the phone book and menus as well as any special features it has. |
