The main attraction of the Samsung T500 is that is so obviously a ladies phone. With it’s feminine size, shape, and most importantly, its beautiful jewelled front, this really is a fashion accessory. Whilst I owned this phone it got many admiring glances and certainly got the ‘wow’ factor from anyone who commented on it (and plenty of people did).

Fitting easily into the palm of the smallest adult female hand, the T500 is tactile as well as breathtakingly beautiful. When a message or call is received the gem stones around the face outer screen light up in various colours and look spectacular. There are various wallpapers for the outer screen including animated ones, but the ones that look best are the clock ones (there are several). Inside, the 65,000 colour screen is bright and beautiful but it amazes everyone by being able to change to a make-up mirror at the touch of a button – very useful too!

I found the games to be quite entertaining and was impressed by the biorhythm application, calorie counter and pink schedule which works out on which days it is possible for you to get pregnant!

Unfortunately a lot was missing from this phone in terms of the features we have come to take for granted on most up to date phones. There is no camera or even mms facility and no predictive text.

This is the ideal phone for the females amongst us who like to be REALLY feminine and show off something different. You probably won’t know many people with one of these, especially as it’s rather expensive (around £325) although can be bought more cheaply if you shop around. If you enjoy a feature packed phone however this is definitely not for you.

Summary: The phone is gorgeous to look at but lacks a lot of standard features.
