Advantages: Small., Light., Fits nice in palm of hand.
Disadvantages: none, as, yet
I've owned this phone for 7 days, purchased Brand New with T-Mobile Sim for £30 (a Buy It Now on Ebay). My first impression was its size, the A50 makes a 3210 look and feel like a brick. The battery is a little harder to fit than the other phones I have owned as it locks in place two ways. On start-up you get a short intro before being asked to confirm switch-on. Once up and running the display shows everything you need to know with info boxes to get to menu's. Signal strength on T-Mobile seems lower than my other phones have shown although connection has not been a problem. Battery life is not bad, however, my new battery will need a few charges to condition before reaching its best. Charge time is very short (approx 2 hours). The keys are well set out with room between and they feel right. Menu keys take a little getting used to as they undertake two options depending on which side you press them but, I'm soon getting the hang of it. My phone runs in my pocket on silent mode with keypad locked and the vibrate function lets me know if I'm needed, no problems there. All in all a very nice entry level mobile phone that does everthing I need it to, and available now at a real bargain price.
