Small phone, big potential (Siemens C25)

Advantages: Small size, loads of ringtones, fashionable and easy to use.

Disadvantages: Not many options, quiet.

The C25 is, for its age, a very reasonable phone. True, it might be getting on a bit now, in the age of WAP Internet phones, but for a phone that provides that little bit extra than a standard mobile, this is great.

A few months ago I bought this for £79.99. It's now selling at around 340 and that is what I would call a bargain.

Its size alone almost merits a sale, as this phone is one of the smallest I have seen. This is great as you dont have a huge phone to lumber around - it's light - and fashionable as well. However, I have found it quite hard to find accessories for, as standard phone cases won't cover this.

What I don't like is the fact that the ringtones, as varied as they are (with the opportunity to make your own) simply aren't loud enough, especially the text message tones, which won't even be heard if you have your phone in your pocket or bag.

Also, there is no option for setting your own logo on the screen, an option which is very popular. And customised ringtones have to be inputted manually - you can't send the codes direct to your phone.

Another downside is the fact that there are no real special features, eg. games, clock, alarm, calculator and the like. Which is a shame.

But overall, this phone is good. It looks cool and functions well.

And for £40 it's a must.
