I'm not a great mobile phone user - I've never been fond of the things (at eighteen years old, I'm 'supposed' to be, but that doesn't always follow!).
I bought my phone in 2002, or rather my dad bought it for me. It was intended for emergency use only (my brother and dad have the same phones) and that's pretty much what it has been used for - not emergencies as such, but 'necessity calls'. I've only topped it up three times.
It's compact and not too heavy and it has all I need to make phone calls and send text messages.
Unfortunately, you can only save up to ten text messages (including in the out box if you get half way through a message and want to save it).
This hasn't been too much of a problem though - more of a mere inconvenience.
It's slow to pick up text messages, but again, it's adequate.
The most annoying thing about it is I have to make a call of three minutes or more in length every six months to ensure the SIM card not lock (my brother had to pay £10-20 for a new one), but that's probably down to O2 rather than Siemens.
Overall and nice, solid little phone. Treat it nicely and it will serve you well!
