Inherent Fault - Do not buy. (Siemens SL55)

This phone has an inherent fault whereby it keeps switching itself off without warning. This is a common fault with most of these (see other reviews elsewhere). Siemens should recall all these phones and replace them with a reliable product. They are bringing considerable reputational damage on themselves and should act asap to resolve this serious problem.

I advise buyers of this phone to return their phones to their retailer as under the sale of goods act this phone is not of "merchantable quality" or "fit for its purpose". That is what I am doing. I tried to get it repaired at O2 but it was returned "uneconomical to repair". That is no excuse and we are all entitled to a full refund. I am about to take legal action if O2 do not refund, will let you know the outcome.
