Advantages: looks nice, small
Disadvantages: everything else
This phone is all about style and nothing else. After having a few Nokias and motorolas I can safely say I will never buy a Siemens again. My gripes are: I live in Cenral London and rarely get 4 bars of reception The ringtone is too quiet to hear walking down the road. The vibration is far to feeble that it can be ringing in my pocket and I can't feel it. The menu system is all cack handed and nothing feels intuative It gobbles through the battery, so you have to charge it every 2 days and I'm a light user. The buttons are fiddly and sometimes feel like they've been pressed but don't register on the screen. Addressbook order can't be changed There are so many things about this phone that make me want to throw it away and go back to a phone that just does its job. Aparently the camera is excellent, however you have to buy that and its bulky, buy and integrated one! Good looking gadgets can work beautifully, just look at the ipod (yes I have one) this phone does not do it's job properly, it will infuriate you. If you just want to pose, this phone is great, if you want to ever use it, stick to a Nokia or Sony

- 15/10/03 I bought the phone because I liked the look of it and it was time to upgrade my phone, I'm with Vodaphone now and personally wish I'd never left Orange. I've got all the rings as loud as they'd go but it can ring away in my bag and I can't hear it.
The T9 text messaging is also far below the standard of Nokia, wouldn't you agree?

- 15/10/03 Welcome to dooyoo!
I have this phone, but not for posing ;) I like it and find it quite easy to use but I do agree with your gripe about the addressbook thing.
Why did you buy this phone? Was it on contract? Which provider are you with?
Have you tried adjusting the volume and environment settings? I find the ringing tones etc just as loud as on a Nokia. |
