Advantages: Sleek and Sexy Look, Small, Lightweight

Disadvantages: Crashs

Working for one of the Siemens divisions, I get to play with all the different phones that the company produces, and must say, first off that in my opinion is one of the best looking phones on the market at the minute.

Its sleek, sexy looking fascia, available in two colours, ruby (as shown in the picture) and titanium (more grey really), and good quality colour display, make this the Miss World of the phone world. Unfortunately, just like some of the Miss World contestants, the mobile seems to have all the looks, but none of the brains, the internal memory is just 1.5Mb, which is quickly used, as it is required to hold all the ringtones, pictures, games, etc., and the phone does not have any external memory expansion slot. The phone is saved though by the fact that you can link it to your PC through the data cable (which I think you need to purchase seperately), and so can download any pictures that you have received through MMS. Also I had many problems with the fact that sometimes when I received messages the phone randomly crashed, I would have to turn the phone off and back on again before it will work, and sometimes deleted any messages in the inbox.

The phone has many of the more advanced features that have come to be expected today, Java downloadable games, polyphonic ringtones, MMS messaging, GPRS wap access, PC connectivity and wallpapers. However it also lacks some of the newer features, such as an integrated camera (you can purchase one seperatly if desired), fm radio, triband and bluetooth. Another thing to be noted is that like many of the smaller generation of phones, the battery life isnt great, at first the phone would last me five days before being needed to be recharged, however after around a months use this has decreased to just two days.

I am afraid as this is a company phone I do not know an awful lot about the pricing, but a quick look around the internet shows that the phone is currently available free on the hig
her end pay monthly tariffs, up to £200 i you would like it sim free.

Personally I believe that many of the features it lacks I would very rarely used, such as the camera, and although the phones crashes regularly, it is easy enough to reset, and therefore I am very happy with this phone. So I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a stylish mobile, however if you simply want something functional, perhaps the downfalls will not be so easy to overlook.

Well I like a phone to be practical more than stylish, so it would drive me nuts if it kept crashing!!! Nice review. :O)
