Siemens CL75 Poppy ... time ago I attempted a review of this phone on the other side I would be the first to admit my attempt was truely atrocious and was the reason I largely avoided writing technology reviews for a long time. But the time has come that I feel upto the task of trying again. It has to be said that currently I have been using this handset for near enough2 years, although for much of the time it has been a back up for reasons to be explained later. Starting with the looks of the phone, yes it does look vrey pretty and feminine, and at the time I bought it I was finally growing out of my overly tomboyish stage (a period of my life which had lasted almost my entire 20 year... Siemens C45i ... and it has all I need to make phone calls and send text messages. Unfortunately, you can only save up to ten text messages (including in the out box if you get half way through a message and want to save it). This hasn t been too much of a problem though - more of a mere inconvenience. It s slow to pick up text messages, but again, it s adequate. The most annoying thing about it is I have to make a call of three minutes or more in length every six months to ensure the SIM card not lock (my brother had to pay £10-20 for a new one), but that s probably down to O2 rather than Siemens. Siemens S75 ... another casualty of the late joint venture between Benq and Siemens, the S75 was never released in this country. It was, however, released in Germany, and I managed to get my hands on this rather elusive model of mobile phone just over a year ago. In many ways, I wish that I had saved my money. Developed just before Benq Corporation took over the failing mobile phone division of Siemens, the S75 took a lot of inspiration from its predecessors, the S55 and S65.
