	Siemens A40 ... like me, want contact with people whilst on the move, without the distraction of the multitude of features on other phones that quite frankly get in the way of basic functionality. As an emergency telephone for long journeys it is a superb telephone. Five years old and still going strong, and what proves that there is a market for simplistic phones is that the phone is still on the market and Siemens recognise that there is a need for simple communication at a low budget price. The only downfall to me is the irritating ring tones which would bring this down from 10/10 to 8/10, although switching them off and using the vibration is a simple solution. It s a phone – no... 	Siemens SL65 ... was recomended this phone but someone at VIrgin Mobile (my network) It sounded great, but dont be misled its crap its battery has no life in it, its camera is rubbish, its hands free takes so long to pick up calls most people have hung up by then so you have to pick up the call and push the button to take the call, and god forbid you need to make a call while driving because you cant it has no voice activation so you have to pick up the phone go throught the phonebook till you get the number then push green button, not exactly hands free, and the phone was not cheap but once bought your stuck with it, so now im trying to get money to get another phone that i can use w... 	Siemens A55 ... ve been using this phone for nearly two years now, with no problems. I m thinking of buying another one for my wife. I don t need the fancy gidgets and gadgets of the fancier and pricier phones that the kids love. I don t need a melodic ring-tone (the ones that are standard on the A55 offer plenty of choice for me) and I don t need a fancy screen. This is your basic model standard shift, with no air-conditioning or power-windows or central locking. It s very easy to use. I learned how to use it without reference to the manual it s that intuitive. I ve only used a heavy old Nokia and a Motorola fliptop before this.
