As many have said, this product has many great features, and as they say on TV, "The price is right".

It is as one reviewer mentioned fair to compare this against the 3310. My friend has the 3310 and its about the same size, although that product does eem sturdier. My J70 already has a scratched fascia after little use.

However, this phone has three features that lift it head and shoulders above any phone of similar pricing. These are features that are ESSENTIAL for a mobile user (unlike wap, ringtones, screensavers and other crap).


1. CALL QUALITY
I can confirm by a UK Mobile Magazines opinion on the transmitted and received audio. Nothing short of superb. Crystal clear and as good as a landline.

2. SIGNAL STRENGTH
Holds a better signal than my rock-solid 6150 and my friends 3310. Enough said.

3. BATTERY LIFE
I have seem quotes of 330hr standby and up to 9hrs (yes 9!) talktime.
Suffice to say I am a heavy user and can get around 5-6hrs talktime or around 9 days of standby.

The TOP 3 negatives in my opinion are:

1. INTERFACE
Give me Nokia anyday, the jogwheel is OK, but not as great as one might imagine.

2. RINGTONES
The supplied ringtones are AWFUL, make the phone sound like an ice-cream van, and will invoke sniggers from anybody around you if you are unfortunate enough to let it ring. I'm not into Downloading new ring tones but I bet many people will make the effort just to get a NORMAL ring-tone. The recordable deature is OK, but recording my friends 3310 standard Nokia tune wasn't too successful.

3. BUILD QUALITY
Plastc, plastic and plastic, and not high strength either. Put this in a good leather case though and who cares?
