Well hi there. I'm going to give a short review of the Sony CMD-J70. I'm new to dooyoo, and this is only my second review, so give me a chance ok ... Oh and I'm not going to go into much detail on the specifications of the phone, it seems other people have done this already. In my opinion the CMD-J70 is a lovely phone indeed. Now I only got this phone because when i signed up for my contract it was one of the free ones, but I'm glad I got it, it's the best mobile I've had. It has everything a phone should have, it makes phone calls (would you believe it?), it sends text messages, it has a pretty big phone book (i don't know how big it is exactly), it can store a sufficient amount of text messages (20 in the inbox, 10 in the outbox). Of course it has games on like any other mobile phone these days - the only game i've actually played on it is a rather bizarre game where you're a monkey in a tree and you have to throw bananas at another monkey trying to knock them out of their tree before they do the same to you. Quite odd, but ammusing nonetheless. Anyway moving swiftly on - not only does the CMD-J70 do all this, it does so much more too! It has wap, as many phones do now, but I like the CMD-J70's wap interface more than many other phones. One of my favourite features of it though is the ability to record your own ring tones and event sounds - every time I get a text message now, my phone chirps "pete, pete, pete" in my friends voice. As for the general design, it looks nice, it's quite ergonomic (oooh, big word) and it's pretty hardy too (though it does rattle as the battery is slightly loose) So, in conclusion, this is a very nice phone, it does everything you need and more. For but a fraction of the price of many other phones around these days (why people want to spend 170 quid on a phone ... when they're on contract ... I can never understand). So if your ol
d phone exploded, or you want to get away from Nokia's (I did), then this is as good a choice as any. Thanks for reading. Peace.

- 07/11/02 Hiya ;)
Have to agree with what Johnny says I'm afraid. If you add more info I will happily look at re-rating - let me know via my profile page ;) |

- 24/10/02 Not a bad op, but in one of your opening lines you say..."i won't go into detail as others have already done this".
When a potential buyer looks at your review, they will seldom read all the reviews of the product, so each review needs to have a full description.
If you HAD gone into detail with regards to these things it would have been a VU.
So my tip for you is to ignore what everyone else has done and write a stand alone op, you will get more reads and higher ratings. |
