Advantages: Solid build
Disadvantages: Bad battery, unreliable, buggy
This is my fifth and final time I will upgrade my phone to a Sony Ericsson. What started out as a great alternative to Nokia (which I used for many years previously) has turned into a nightmare. The software is always really unreliable, buggy and slow.
My last three Sony Ericssons have all ended up the same way. They turn themselves off whenever they see fit, the battery life is awful after about a month of ownership, and finally they won't even turn on at all, or unless they decide they want to suddenly.
I have found the c902 to be the worst of all of them so far. The handset feels very robust but that's about all I can say in the way of positivity. The buttons are very hard and can be unresponsive. The camera is pretty average (not that I feel you should ever buy a phone for such a gimmick).
The features are pretty standard of all SE phones in the last 2 years. Nothing special. Personally, I feel phones should stop trying to be everything that they're not and return to just being a phone... unless they are made in such a way that they perform all the tasks well, such as the iphone, which I will certainly be opting for next.
Summary: Try a nokia or iphone

- 07/01/09 Thanks Mabel, Yeah I wouldn't buy it for that, everyone should just buy a proper camera if they actually want a camera! However, the other features are brilliant (I have an ipod touch - the iphone without the phoning capabilities lol) |

- 07/01/09 Don't buy an iPhone if you want a decent camera either - it's pants! Rest of the phone is great though ! |
