Advantages: Good camera, nice design, fairly good reliability
Disadvantages: Misleading battery life, doesn't come with a lot of space built in.
I got my C902 on contract with o2 nearly 1 year ago exactly so I guess that is long enough that I can put together a useful review.
==== Features ====
5MP camera (can also take videos) with built in flash.
160MB internal memory ( memory slot where you can put an 8GB micro sd card)
Music player.
Radio
Video Calling
Bluetooth
Picture messaging
Standby time of between 360 and 400 hours
Talk time of between 4 hours and 9 hours
Overall I do use quite a lot of the features outlined above, most notably the Camera and the music player, I have found the camera to be very good when you are in a light environment (during the day) but when it gets dark the flash is not great and as a result taking pictures during the night doesn't really work all that well, it may be because I have not used to correct settings but if there is one then I haven't found it yet. The music player is also quite useful if you forget your iPod, the phone does have an built in speaker that can output your music but to do that on a bus/train etc is just inconsiderate so I use the headphones that you get when you buy the phone (NOTE: the headphones they provide you work as the antena for the radio)
In order to put any music on your phone then chances are you will need to get a micro SD card, mine came with a 1GB card free, but I found this to be not enough so I went out and bought a 2GB card for a relatively small price.
One feature that I have found doesn't work so well is the bluetooth, my laptop is bluetooth enabled but I don't seem to be able to get my laptop and my mobile phone to sync, I thought it would be easy to access pictures that were on my phone and to transfer them to my laptop, but when I try to it doesn't work, again this could just be my but once they are paired it just doesn't seem to do anything.
==== Price ====
As I am on contract with o2 for 18 months I got the phone for free (with a £35 p/m contract ), if you are after this phone on PAYG then you will be looking to pay approx £120+ for it, if you are after a phone that has a lot of features and can take good photos (the photo quality is VERY good during the day) then I would say this represents good value, but for someone looking for something cheap and cheerful this may not be the best choice.
==== Reliability ====
As I mentioned I have had this phone for nearly a year now and it has never let me down, it has had its fair share of bumps and knocks but has soldiered on. It does however sometimes turn itself off which I find odd and the battery life does seem to have gone down quite considerably but it hasn't got to the point where it is an annoyance more just something worth noting.
==== Ease of use ====
The phone is relatively simple to use, if you have had a Sony Ericsson mobile before then you will be familiar with the menu layout and even if you are not then it shouldn't take long to understand, one thing that a first time user may not understand is how to get the camera out, it took me forever to find out how to work it as consulting the manual was of no great help, however this has been the only thing that I have come to struggle with understanding with this phone.
==== Overall ====
Overall I am very happy with this phone, it has a lot of useful features that I use fairly regularly, but it does have a few things that don't make it ideal to give to a first time user. The slim design means it fits easily into your pockets but I do find the keys to be a little bit small which can effect text messages / dialing phone numbers etc.
