Advantages: Sleek, smart and good functions.

Disadvantages: Glossy finish leads to some smudges.

I decided on this phone as an upgrade in August and it was the right choice for me. First off, the design. It has a very sleek design in black and looks very good over all. The only problem with this is the glossy back is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but this is easily dealt with by a wipe of a soft cloth. The camera has a sliding cover which is great for keeping the lens clean for optimum use of the 5MP camera. The only problem with this is that sometimes it can become uncovered if kept in a pocket leading to some interesting photos! The camera itself is good however, and the clarity of the photos is great even on a big screen such as a computer. The only thing I would say is that the flash can be dim in dark surroundings which is a little disappointing. Another thing is an external memory card is a necessity if you want to use the phone as an MP3 player as well. The player does have good quality through earphones even though there is no normal headphone slot (so only the sony ericssons specialised ones can be used.) Finally, the battery. I have found that I can push my phone through 3 full days of consistent use before it starts to warn me of a low battery which for a 3G phone is pretty good.

Overall I would say the phone is definitely worth a look but if you are considering a high performance device, this is not the phone for you.
