Advantages: Great Camera, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Slide is a bit clunky, could be smoother
The Sony Ericsson C905 is my fourth phone in a row from Sony, i am a big fan of the phones they make and have a loyal customer in me.
The C905 is yet another phone that has pleased me and i am glad i have stuck with them when upgrading my mobile on its contract.
The camera on the phone is 8MP and is very good, i wasn't that impressed with the 5MP on my old K850I but the camera on the C905 is much clearer and as its now better than my digital camera i will be using my phone as my camera too from now on to save having to carry both around in my bag.
It looks more like a camera as well than the others, its a rounded phone and has a soft and smooth feel to it.
The menu on the phone is the same as all Sony Ericsson's, a nice bright easy to access menu.
The layout was slightly different to my old phone but this phone has built in Wi Fi and also GPS Satellite Navigation in it so they had to jig things around a bit.
I am not sure if i will use the Wi Fi facility much due to owning an Ipod Touch which has a better built in browser but its nice to know its there and the GPS is handy if lost, it came with a three month free trail so i probably won't use that afterwards as its not as easy to use as a Sat Nav and you can't stick it on your windscreen but its ok if your navigating for someone else.
You can pick photos and ring tones for each of your contacts to keep the phone personal and can download or upload MP3s to use for this, the phone came with a 2GB memory card so can store a lot of data.
I do have a few niggles with it though.
Its a slide phone and it slides well but it does sound clunky when you open it, i feel that it shouldn't make a noise when your opening and closing it.
I also miss the touch screen facility my K850I had and wish they had incorporated that technology into this phone, its strange pressing buttons ago.
The keypad is accessible when the phone is open and the buttons are smooth which has also taken some getting used too as its a flat keypad, i prefer buttons.
I do recommend this phone, very easy to use and a great camera.
Summary: Another great phone from the cybershot range.
