Advantages: Easy to use, great camera quality and good for internet

Disadvantages: Battery can run down fairly quickly

As a loyal Nokia user and more recently Samsung (which I wasn't overly impressed with) I recently decided to go for the Sony Ericsson C905 and I have not had any regrets whatsoever! The phone looks very sleek and is very simple to use! The 8 megapixel camera is great for taking high quality photographs and the wifi internet connection is excellent for going online quickly at any time. This is a good alternative to the IPhone in my opinion although it doesn't have a touch screen and the screen is smaller but it still does most of the same things. If you tend to use the camera or the internet a lot it does mean that the battery can wear down pretty quickly so it does need to be charged up every couple of days. I would definitely recommend this phone as it has great features and is very easy to use.

*UPDATE*
After having the phone for five months i have just experienced my first problems with it - at 2am on a Saturday night in the rain just as I needed it most! It rings as normal but I am unable to hear anything at all from the caller but they can hear me. The same happens when I call someone....there is no dialling tone or anything but the call goes through and the person on the other end can hear but I cant hear anything! Very annoying when your friends are trying to find you in order to get a taxi home at the end of the night!! I went online and googled the problem and discovered that this fault has happened to hundreds of other people and it seems to be one of the phone's major faults. I phoned up today and was told it was probably due to my sim card being 3 years old so they will be sending me out a new one to see if that works but to be honest I think the problem lies with the phone itself and from other people have said they ended up having to get their phone replaced. I'll soon see!

If it does happen to you, you should be able to make and receive calls by using the loudspeaker and if you also try it the normal way whilst holding in 'C' the whole time this should make it work a bit or at least very faintly!
It's not the ideal solution though!

Overall I still really like the phone but am a bit disappointed that this particular fault seems to be so common. If i am able to get it satisfactorily fixed i'll be much happier!

Summary: Overall a great phone which i would highly recommend
