Advantages: Great camera, great features
Disadvantages: Shocking reliability
This is my first Sony Ericsson phone, and to start all seemed well!
I'll begin this review with the good points about this phone, which are many:
- It has an amazing 8.1 mega-pixel camera with a proper xenon flash, which gives you photos better than a lot of digital cameras and excellent night photos
- Great user interface, lots of applications, very intuitive
- Wi-Fi... enables you to connect to the internet by accessing Wi-Fi hotspots
- Comes with a 2GB memory card for storing music, videos and photos.
Now i'll move onto the bad points;
The C905 is plagued with reliability issues! A very very common fault with this model is that the earpiece speaker randomly fails - meaning to answer calls you need to put the phone onto loudspeaker, or use the handsfree kit - both of which are not exactly ideal! This issue is covered under a Sony warranty but you dont expect to have to send off what is basically their flagship phone for repair, im currently on my third one in under a year!
I cant help but think the reliability problems are caused by the sheer ammount of technology they've stuffed into this handset, you could find better for your £300
Summary: Still a good phone, but would be an amazing one if not for reliability problems
