Advantages: Huge list of functions

Disadvantages: Poor build quality for Sony

This phone replaced my Nokia N95 8GB earlier this year, and became probably my 8th Sony Ericson phone - having had a string of models in the K series. Although i loved my N95, i was very keen to return to Sony having had such great experiences in the past with the others

First the positive - as with many new phones the list of functions is fantastic - this phone does almost everything other than cook dinner for you! There are certain functions that are particularly good, one of my favorites being th quality of the camera which as always is a quality cybershot product and takers amazing photos! I also love the slightly bizzare song recognition function - as someone who often hears songs i like but doesnt have a clue who they are by its great - just press a button and it anylises the song and tells you what it is and who its by - and even recognises some very odd songs!

On the negative side - im not sure if its the model or my handset (in which case i guess i should take it back) but the signal i get at home is considerably worse than my previous 5 or 6 phones - so much so it doesnt receive calls or texts if in my pocket! Also a little strip of metal on the side of the phone did come away and i needed to stick it back down - not quite the build quality i expect from such a good brand!

Overall a ver nice phone, but possibly not quite as well made as some past models!

Summary: Nice phone, but maybe a little attention to build quality needed!
