Advantages: Exellent Camera, Easy to use

Disadvantages: Reliability of the phone and parts such as headphones, easy to scratch and chip, too bulky

I first got this phone in January, when my previous contract expired and I had the option to upgrade. I chose it because of the camera, which is definitely one of its best features. The standard is 8.1 megapixels, and even printed out A4 size they still look good. There are lots of settings, which are worth fiddling around with, as otherwise photos can come out with people looking a bit yellow in artificial light. However, it does lack a zoom, which can be a bit annoying, but it's great for taking photos on nights out, or when you don't have a camera on you. I'd probably not bother taking a real camera on holiday with this phone.

The main features are all very easy to use. There's a two gigabyte memory card included as standard, which is enough to store around two hundred songs, still leaving plenty of space for photos. It's very easy to connect the phone with a computer to transfer songs and photos, and a wire for this is also included, as well as earphones. Sony Ericson earphones are rubbish though, one of the ear pieces tends to wear out within six months, but they only cost £3 to replace online, so I can live with this.

My main issue with the phone is its lack of reliability, I had to send it off to be fixed, as I had a problem with the speaker in calls- I couldn't hear the voice of the other person unless I used the speakerphone. This was in July, so only six months after I received the phone. Luckily, it was still under warranty, so I had it repaired for free. The phone is also prone to scratches, and the cheep plastic back cover is already chipped. I am very rough with my phones though.

I can't decide whether to recommend this phone or not. There are some better camera phones on the market, and they are also much less bulky than this one, which doesn't fit easily into a pocket on my skinny jeans, it's so chunky. However, it does everything you would want a phone to do, however, it can't justify the price. The cheapest first hand price I could find is £259 sim free (on play.com). However, if you can get it free on contract, then I would definitely consider it.

Summary: It's an alright phone, with a very good camera, but it's too bulky and unreliable for me
