      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Serves the purpose if you're not too fussy

Took this phone in 2004 as I was attracted by a small, but fancy (for that time) phone and I 'bought' it with earned points from my network provider at the time.

It was my first phone with a camera, with a big enough memory to allow playing songs, first phone with MP3 ringtones. It also had infra-red, Java games and much more attractive packaging and body that phones at the time. All these features matched my low-budget as a fresh high-school student. And it was indeed a teenage phone. Lightweight, shiny, plastic-like. Sounds were shallow. It came with a single ear headset. Still, it was an amazing upgrade from my old phone and it served me well for 2 years, and now my grandpa owns it.

I did like the games. I could always type in rather fast on it. I could MMS. I think you can change font sizes on it which I liked. It had USB connection for the first time, so no more weird infra-red readers. Battery would last for ages, same as with most Sony Ericcsons.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good value for money option that offers that little bit more than the real "basics" phones

I've been using this as my main handset for about eighteen months now. Whilst not the newest and flashiest looking of the Sony Ericsson collection, this is still a very good looking handset that has turned the head of more than one phone obsessed friend!

The main pros are that the phone is good value for money, the buttons are easy to use and the menus easy to navigate. Added to this, the battery life is very good, and the phone recharges in super quick time - usually around ninety minutes of charging is enough to give a weeks's worth of standby time. Additionally, the phone is lightweight and the colour screen is good and clear.

One of the phone's main disappointments is the below-par camera - great for taking pictures that never leave the handset, but beyond that the image quality is too poor to be of any real use. I also found that my phone's speaker stopped working after about a year - effectively rendering the handset near to useless (I have to take calls in quiet rooms only and can only have it ring on vibrate!). However it is testament to how much I like the buttons and ease of use of the phone that despite this problem I have still not got round to replacing it.

        Great Phone

I only purchased this phone last week and i am generally happy with it. it is quite abit different from my previous phone - nec 411i....

The reason i purchased it was because i needed a phone and i wanted one that was nice to look at and was small but not too small - (if that makes any sense...)

So i purchased this phone for 50 quid in fones for you...
i was excited cause i love getting a new phone.

However i was a bit disappointed about the camera quality and video quality... its only a vga Camera 0.3 megapizels - which is quite low compared to my last phone, the picture gets very pixalated when you take it. but when you go out of the picture and then back into it again, its a bt better (:s)

The phone also does not hae blue tooth - but i didnt really mind about that use i use only infrared mainly....

Anyway enough of the bad stuff...

Besides that stuff i love the phone, its so easy to use. the menu is quite easy to understand - its like any other phone really.

il tell you abit about it:

The camera - 0.3 pixel camera and video camera. The phone has 4 shoot modes: Normal, Frames, Panorama and burst -which is great. There are 4 picture sizes 640x480, 320 x 240, 160 x 240 and a zoom feature.

There are excellent games installed on it such as: Deep Abyss, erix, treasure tow and a number of demo games. The applications are great - there is face warp - this is a really fun application - you can take a picture of somepne and the phone will distort their face in numerous ways - hilarious....
There is also a converter where you convert languages and sizes, temperatures, speeds ,distances ,volumes, weights etc... and a news reader.

There is a build in mp3 player and a media player and a music dj where you can compose all your own music - great feature.

THE WAP IS FREE ON VODAPHONE SO YOU CAN BROWSE TIL YOUR HEART IS CONTENT, HOWEVER TO DOWNLOAD ITEMS WILL COST YA.

The sound on this phone is excellent - i was blew away when i heard it - silly me decided to play it in the library :( i got some looks...

I cant think what else to say about the phone, except i love my new phoine, except for the camera which i rarely use anyway...

I hope you find this review anyway helpful...
