I used to always have the latest phone and upgrade yearly, but then I decided to save money and switch to a basic phone on pay as you talk. I picked up this phone in Sainsburys and was easy to use straight out of the box and packs in a lot of features for the money. The VGA camera is useful, but is really too low a quality to use for anything other than mms. A more useful feature not often seen on cheaper phones is bluetooth. I find this particularly useful for sending data to and from my computer, such as names and addresses etc. The screen quality in terms of pixels is far better than other cheaper phones, but if you are downgrading, you will notice a difference. The menu system based on a grid of icons has become standard now and is easy to use. The only thing which is annoying about this phone, and was something I never even thought about when buying is the sound quality on the calls. Previous phones I have had have a better clarity of sound and I find myself having to shout ever so often, and its enough to make me want a better quality model. It's a big minus. But over all, it is good value for money and good if you are used to a feature rich phone, but don't have much cash. If you were a casual user, I would perhaps trade off the features for something with better sound quality.
The Sony Ericson k320i is a light weight and user friendly camera phone. The handset is slim measuring 101 x 44 x 18 mm and only weighs in at 82 grams, which makes the phone easy to carry and handle . The Sony Ericsson K320i comes with an internal memory of 15 Mbytes which is o.k for storing contacts and text messages etc but becomes a problem when storing music. I have only managed to store three tracks so it is definitely not for you if you want an MP3 player within a phone. The phone is also capable of recording video as well as photos and with the centre navigation button is user friendly and easy to get used to. The Sony Ericsson K320i comes with the added benefit of built in Bluetooth® technology, allowing you to exchange photos etc with other devices. I have owned this phone now for about 9 months and my only gripe with the build quality of this phone is that the centre toggle button doesn't always work. I must admit that I do go through phones very quickly due to my job and 9 months is a record for me. So overall I am quite impressed with this phones build quality. Basically a good budget phone with plenty of extras.
