Having used sony phones for many years I was delighted to have the opportunity to stay with them with a decent no nonsence phone. It does not look as good as some of its competitors but it makes up for this with its functionality. Downsides are that connecting to the internet remains like its predecessors a rather slow and cumbersome experience let down by lack of speed and intelligent links. Fine for checking the football or at a push email but hopeless if you want to check streetmap or train times. It is this gap that got me thinking about why I actually use a phone.
