I got this phone as an upgrade on 3 Mobile. It is a great little phone that I can use for everything.
The camera is 2MP and isn't particularly good. But, it is better than other 2MP cameras I have seen.
The sound quality is very good especially considering the fact that it isn't a Walkman phone. The screens picture quality is very good, but like I said before, the camera quality isn't the best I have seen. The phone is very well made and is quite strong. It is very reliable and I haven't had any problems with it since I got it about 4 years ago.
It is quite light and quite small. It is very comfortable to hold and it looks really cool. You get a variety of colours to choose from, and I have the wine and black one. But the wine colour looks more pink than red. The buttons are quite small, but they are relatively far apart. This makes it quite easy to text with but it would be even easier if it had bigger buttons.
This phone is very easy to use and is quite simple. The menu is easy to navigate around making it straight forward to get to your music, pictures, contacts, the Internet, applications, etc.
This phone comes with a couple of small games and apps. It has bluetooth, a timer, a stopwatch, and alarm, FM Radio, and lots more.
The battery life is very good and lasts at least 3 or 4 days. If you don't use it very often, it will easily last a week. You get lots of different themes to choose from on this phone, and you can send them to other people or receive them over Bluetooth. This makes the phone look even more stylish.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this phone. I love it so much and would never get rid of it. It is simply amazing.
If you are looking for a mobile phone that is both small and funky, then look no further. However if you are looking for a smart type of phone....don't bother looking at this phone.
I bought this phone on a 3 monthly contract. I payed 15 pounds a month for 500 minutes and 600 texts. Now this sounds pretty good but the price to use the internet was ridiculous.
The design of this phone is both funky and simple. The slim design makes it easy to handle and the weight makes it easy to carry around. It is an attractive phone that would perhaps suit a younger generation, rather than an adult. The keys of the phone are easy to use and to find but they are a bit small for people that have big fingers.
The K660i's simple design makes it so straightforward to use. The layout on the menu is also simple to use too.
The keypad keys light up as you press them, which is useful if you are in the dark or in a dark area.
You can't fault the screen with its 240 x 320 pixels, 262 thousand colours, 2 diagonal inches of display area. It is clear to read and very crisp.
The weight of the phone is 95g and its height is 104mm , 47mm of width and 15m of thickness. Its so slim it could fit into every pocket!
The colours that you can get are Silver and Black, Wine and Black, Black and Blue or Lime and Green.
I own the Wine and Black phone and it is both stylish and funky! However it does attract dust very easily so it may need a clean every now and then!
I would say that the black and silver phone looks smart and is more suited for a man. However the silver would chip and scratch more easy.
The black and blue is hard to get but if you can get it, i would say it looks good.
The lime and green phone in my opinion looks quite cheap and tacky looking. Also the white would show more dirt!
I have dropped my phone a few times and there are some scratches on it, so its not completely scratch proof. I have got it wet and it did freeze for a while but didn't break. I have also dropped it in snow which made it freeze for ages so it's not ideal for cold, wet weather
In the box you get : the phone, a charger, instructions, a USB cable, a hands free kit, a CD setup guide to make uploading videos and photos much easier.
Heres some of the pro's and cons i found with this phone:
Slim design makes it easy to hold
video time is up to 4 hours!
holds lots of music
the size of the screen makes everything easy to see
camera quality not the best - 2.0 MP
buttons are small
If you are someone that is looking for a Candy bar kind of phone then this is perfect.
This phone would have to be one of the best looking phones out there. In white and green, this phone stands out in a crowd.. (which may be bad.. im not sure). But I truely loved this phone, it came with everything I needed, an average camera, (compared to others at the time) a quality screen, and an easy to control interface. Sony ericsson once again suprised me, this being my 4th and favourite phone from them.
Another amazing thing is the fact that they stopped making after a short period, so I rarely saw anyone with one. I felt so unique.
Although it is now a brick compared to the latest smart phones, it is still a stunner. When I had this phone a few years ago, it was certainly fast, just like all the other latest phones, and it did the job it needed to do.
Definately my top phone of all time.
Sony Ericsson K660i is a cute phone with all the essential features that a phone should have. As with all sony ericsson phones, the camera is superb !!! The main fact I like with this phone is the 3.2 MP Camera. I took some very brilliant photos with this phone. This camera of this phone is brilliant compared to the 3.2 MP cameras in the Nokia phones. It has even got the video calling facility with a front camera. The sound quality is brilliant as is the ease of usage. The main drawback of this phone is to do with the buttons on the phone. It is too small and some people may find it difficult. I actually liked the 'green/white' colour of my phone. It is not very popular right now. Hence, it can bought at a reasonable price. For those people who does not want to spend a fortune and yet would like a good phone, Sony ericsson K660i might be your answer...
I have owned a Sony Ericsson K660i phone for a couple of years now - it's the best mobile phone i've owned, with an easy to use interface. The keys could be a little bigger on the handset, a minor gripe but particularly with the up/down arrow keys, they are a little small for my liking! The only fault i've had with this phone recently is the up button hasn't been working. However, it's easy to access the internet on this phone, the volume control is good when you're taking a call - speakerphone facility sounds good quality too. I have the black handset but this white handset looks very impressive. It also has a very good digital camera - photos are of an excellent quality and you can also take short videos too. Not the most modern of mobile phones, but easy to use, and i highly recommend it.
I have had this phone in black and silver for several months now and I am absolutely delighted with it. It is slim and quite chique looking, it is very easy to use with a large screen so that texts are easy to read for an ageing person like me with failing eyesight!. The sound quality via the head phones is excellent although not so good via the built in speaker. The cameral is easy to use and the picture quality for a phone camera is very good although I am a little disappointed tha tthere is no flash for indoor photography. The campacity with the supplied memory card, for storing music again I find adequate for a phone/mp3 player. I think it is great to have a phone, camera, mp3 player and radio all in one slim, easy to use good looking package. One slight drawback is that previous models have had a torch light facility this one does not.
I generally like phones in white, but what a delightful little handset this is! K660i grabbed me instantly, with its neat, stylish, minimalistic looks, and the colour combination, couldn't have been much better.
Equipped with 2MP camera, 3G, brilliant 262K display, not to forget the quadband support, music player of course, and FM radio - oh, and the memory is expandable, which is always great! (through Memory Stick Micro).
Camera is always important in my books for choosing phones, and even though this is, well was, when it was released, a mid-range handset, it had a smart 2MP, which unfortunately did not have autofocus feature. However, it did produce snappy (always a plus), and average quality picture (just to note, normally Sony makes better cameras in phones than Nokia, or Motorola).
Music player is nothing new, it's ordinary, plays well and the freedom to expand the memory to add more music is just great - note here, that Memory Stick Micro are much cheaper in price. You can easily get 2GB one for around £5 or less.
I'm not much of a Radio listener, so that didn't matter. The keypad is responsive and ergonimic, the screen is slightly small for my liking, but enough. The battery life is around 5-6 hours talk time.
The main thing about this for me, was the design and colour - I really did not get bored of it, and the handset really is a little gem - cute and smart, it was joyous even to just look at it. Good work by Sony, though if I could say one thing, they do bring out too many handsets with similar designs.
2 megapixel camera
Having been a huge fan and user of Ericsson handsets for the past four years, I was excited to upgrade to the K660i handset, it looks very cool with the cyan colour on the black background. The phone has all the grat features you would expect with a modern handset, camera,(altough only 2mpx the picture quality is still excellent) video recorder, internet access. However what I found wa this handset was very disappointing to me. The first problem I found was the speaker, sound on the handset at first was quite poor, but after only two days of having it the sound went completly and I could no longer hear anyone I had called on the handset. On receiving the second one, again I had various issues, when writing an sms message the screen froze mide word, it then had to be rebooted and started again. I did end up returning this handset as I had lost faith in it. It could have been a run of bad luck for me, but I feel the handset is flawed with software faults. I did however take the plunge and got another Ericsson handset - C902 which has turned everything around and restored my faith in the good name of Sony Ericcsson...
