Advantages: Design, Usability

Disadvantages: Somewhat small screen & keypad

I generally like phones in white, but what a delightful little handset this is! K660i grabbed me instantly, with its neat, stylish, minimalistic looks, and the colour combination, couldn't have been much better.

Equipped with 2MP camera, 3G, brilliant 262K display, not to forget the quadband support, music player of course, and FM radio - oh, and the memory is expandable, which is always great! (through Memory Stick Micro).

Camera is always important in my books for choosing phones, and even though this is, well was, when it was released, a mid-range handset, it had a smart 2MP, which unfortunately did not have autofocus feature. However, it did produce snappy (always a plus), and average quality picture (just to note, normally Sony makes better cameras in phones than Nokia, or Motorola).

Music player is nothing new, it's ordinary, plays well and the freedom to expand the memory to add more music is just great - note here, that Memory Stick Micro are much cheaper in price. You can easily get 2GB one for around £5 or less.

I'm not much of a Radio listener, so that didn't matter. The keypad is responsive and ergonimic, the screen is slightly small for my liking, but enough. The battery life is around 5-6 hours talk time.

The main thing about this for me, was the design and colour - I really did not get bored of it, and the handset really is a little gem - cute and smart, it was joyous even to just look at it. Good work by Sony, though if I could say one thing, they do bring out too many handsets with similar designs.

Summary: A great low-mid range phone!
