best choice for medium level user, far better when compared to its competitors (Sony Ericsson K750i)

Advantages: good camera, best in series, value for money Disadvantages: not symbian, does not support avi file format This is the phone I used for more than a year. I left it not because I was fed up with it but I needed an up gradation. I would like to say that this would be the phone, which had not troubled e3ven once. My use was so rough. I didn't ever care for the phone. Still it worked fine. The camera is good and the speech quality also was appreciable. I used the older version which I felt had more volume. You could know the full volume only when you play the track as ring tone in the newer version. The great feature is the unbeatable handy shape and size; you could feel the pocket free. The music player is also good. a main drawback is that does not have avi format for video. The slide opening camera cover is like a helmet protecting the camera lenses. I didn't have to clean the lens regularly. The joystick is heard to cause trouble, for me it was fine. The problem with joy stick can be easily solved by blowing air into the gap, so it could not be stated as a big threat. The flash is the best in that range phones. Only disadvantage is that it does not have symbian support' which limits the reliability by limiting the use of third party software which is rarely available for s40 phones Summary: a good choice for mid level users
