Sony Ericsson k750i phone with 2-megapixel camera (Sony Ericsson K750i)

Advantages: lots of gadgets packed into a small phone, very reliable phone Disadvantages: can't think of many! camera starting to get slow to take photos after getting on 2.5 years of use! Wow. It doesn't really surprise me that two years on from amazon.co.uk new and sim-free it still costs £140! This phone has been everywhere with me over the past 2 years 6 months, which is basically worth five stars on its own, considering the built-in obsolescence of some phones. It's still going strong and I still listen to music on it everyday and every journey I make. I've taken photos on three different continents with it and despite the camera's relatively pokey 2-megapixel nature they come out pretty well, especially on facebook, and the picture size is around 1/3 of a megabyte (300-400kb) so you can easily cram hundreds onto a 2gb Sony SD card which slots into the side, as well as the obligatory couple of hundred tracks of music! Sound quality is good, I would say similar to an iPod, but don't expect Sennheiser and you'll be alright. The FM radio is effective and picks up stations easily with headphones plugged in, and the sheer number of gadgets crammed into this small phone is incredible - MP3 player, good quality camera, FM radio and of course the phone. The keypad is easy to use and the layout of the keys, including the wheel, makes it easy and quick to navigate through menus. Of course, the phone is tri band so will tend to work abroad (at least in Europe, North America, Canada and Cuba from personal experience) - although not in China and other similarly exotic destinations - but sometimes your phone working abroad isn't exactly a good thing! Summary: definitely something I would recommend for any phone user!
