Advantages: good camera- if you have the patience

Disadvantages: cumbersome, difficult to text on, annoying default settings..uurrghh!

I hate this phone. When i was buying it, i was in two minds as to whether to get a samsung u600, but in a moment of madness, let some 18 year old tell me that this was a great phone. Except i'm not 18, and the last phone i had was some brick esque nokia. So with reservations I bought this phone. A year on it still fills me with all the frustrations of a new phone. On my old phone texting was no hassle. I could text blind under the desk at uni.

On this thing, typing " where are you" is a chore. The buttons are really thick and very clicky, and the phone is very thick and square and does not sit easily in the hand. the t9, is just senseless, suggesting "rid" instead of "she" and despite my best friend's name being "anna", everytime i type it, it cant seem to get it into its thick skull that i don't want to write "bomb"!!

The snooze on it is annoying as hell- 9 minutes is the ONLY setting it can do.

the same with the backgrounds. the choice of themes is- purple, purple, black, brown, purple and black, and either brown or yes, purple again, combined with a dull blue. Who designed this? somebody colourblind?

the camera is good, granted, you get 3.2 mp, but its really annoying and fiddly to use and the button on the side to press it with tends to kind of hold the shot as youre pressing down hard as hell, and the picture comes out blurred.. oh its just... why am i even wasting my time talking about this horrible, chunky ugly annoying git of a phone. I want out. I'm never buying another sony ericcson again!

Summary: don't bother. Should have got a samsung...

Gosh, that was a bit of a rant, wasn't it? Just wondering - aside from all this, how well (or badly) does it work as a phone?
