Advantages: Camera is great

For a while, this was my phone of choice and I was exceptionally pleased. Talktime and standby were long, the music player was good and the phone had that solid feel about it. Furthermore the camera was brilliant. Though only 3.2 megapixels, the Sony Cybershot very quickly replaced my own digital camera producing high quality pictures with a great flash and great zoom. The video feature too isn't half bad and for once I felt that having a camera on a phone wasn't so much a gimmick but an exciting usable feature.

However, I must warn you that slowly(ish) this joyous piece of technology started to crumble away from me. Firstly the joystick controller became very inefficient, refusing to work in several directions though never having specific routine to be able to isolate the problem. After that several of the screen pixels died on me and finally the earpiece failed altogether so I could only hear calls via headphones or loudspeaker. This was after about a year so I suppose it had a fair life and I wasn't the most tender of keepers. Overall it is still a great phone with great features.

Summary: Great camera is main feature of this feel good phone, even if it's unreliable
