Advantages: Great phone with nice features

Disadvantages: none from me

The Sony Ericsson K800i is a brilliant phone, i got mine for christmas about 2 years ago and ive had no problems with it yet. There is so much functions on it and for the money i think its the best phone ive ever had and to be honest i think its still up there with all the newest phone's out, well the standard phone's anyways.

Just some of the functions

Its got a 3.2 mega pixle camera (with a flash) which is perfect if you have to take pictures on a night out or just an outing!

There is a built in FM radio so u can listen to all the great radio stations, although u need to use the ear-phones that comes with the phone and you only get one pair so dont loose them! The ear-phones are great though as they can be used as a hands free device.

It has got a really good music player, you can put all your favourite music tracks from your PC media player or whatever you use straight to your phone (using the cable thats provided) and with the micro SD card slot you can increase the amount of memory your phone has. So the more memory you have the more music tracks you can put on your phone, think i have about 150 on mine at the minute.

I think there is a really good organizer on it as it holds such things as ur alarm clock, calendar, calculator, tasks, notes, timer and stop watch which im sure any sony phone user has used more than once.

The internet on the other hand would not be the best as its slow and compared to mordern phones its a lower standard, but really if i want to use the internet i'll go on my PC so its not a major bad point.

Overall i think this phone is very good for its value as i picked it up for around £100 at the time. Its got all your normal functions with extra's, for that price your getting a fairly good camera, a decent music player and a radio all in a phone.

Summary: for the value a great buy

Good review, an enjoyable read. I own the k550i and have done for years now, it's quite indestructable - it's even survived being dropped in the bath. I don't think I could ever part ways willingly with the k550i since it's just such a reliable phone. :)

That is a good warning about the headphones. I'm always misplacing the ones that go with my phone and nothing else will fit!

Can be bought for much cheaper now, think 60 pounds. I love this phone and have it too. Simple and briliant. Loving the Review.

Big up K800i
