Advantages: Ease of use, cheap
Disadvantages: restriceted applications, small camera compared to new ones on market
I knew about this phone for quite a while before i bought it not only because of its popularity but also alot of my friends owned it and said it was brilliant, of which one advised me to buy it.
Ive had my phone for just under a year and nothing has yet went wrong with it, which was the previous case with phones before. I didn't want to spend alot on a phone and so i therfore decided upon the Sony Ericsson k800i
Th phone itself is physically very comfortable to use ie. the buttons, and also it fits ur hand well. Its very light yet durable and after a few drops, its still as good as new. The 3.2MP camera is great in terms of when it was released and also how much i bought it for. Around July 08 i purchased it for £75, which i feel was money well spent.
The layout is basic yet includes many features which is expected in modern phones. The only downside i can see are very small problems. The joystick can sumtimes be very hard to use and the screen may be prone to scratching if your not careful.
I could say now that if something happened my phone i could quite possibly buy another k800i, and suggest to anyone looking for a reasonable priced phone to at least have a look at it. You may be suprised.
Summary: Reliable phone, worth a look
