Advantages: Just a great phone!

Disadvantages: None!

I joined the Sony Lover's club back when i got my little k700, and after i dropped it I felt like i needed an upgrade. I then got this baby, the K800i. The phone lasted me over a year, and its death, in the end, was nothing to do with the phone.

What made me want this phone was the camera, back in its day, it was the biggest baddest camera around, with 3.2MP Cybershot, and a slide to cover the lens, a powerful flash, and some nice picture modes including panoramic pictures, and "best shot" which takes lots of pictures in quick succession, and you choose the best.

The phone also had a music player, this was nothing special, as this phone was part of Sony's Cybershot range and so concentrated on the camera, more than the walkman phone range. The phone came with 3 inbuilt games, Super Real Tennis, which was almost impossible to play, Mini Golf, which is by far one of the best and most addictive mobile games arround, since Snake.

The k800i had the same quality you would expect from a sony erricson, and in the long time I had it it only had a few issues, which are the same old common Sony Erricson issues - freezing and turning itself off. Which i can thankfully say, only happened to me once, in the years I had this phone.

The phone comes with all the usual phone features, and is a good phone for texting on and phoning, even if you take all the extras away.

Even today, this phone is still one of the better ones out there, and is realible and sturdy and made to last, the screen is large and easy too see, and the buttons are easy to use too.

I have no bad things to say about this phone, and think that it will be one that we will all remember as being our fave old mobile.

Summary: A great little phone, ahead of its time, crammed with technology, but still usable.
