A great Pre New Generation Phone (Sony Ericsson K800i)
Member Name: SteveJohnAndrews
Advantages: Easy to Use, Great Camera, Good Battery Life Disadvantages: Scroll Key becomes unresponsive Firstly, let me explain a little about me as a mobile phone user. I use mobile phones, they get dropped they get submerged in water and generally they get broken. I've bought and broke Motorola's and Nokia's despite using this phone for 4 years, dropping it repeatedly, I have not been able to break it! So quality no. 1 pretty indestructible! That aside, the phone offers a very simple to use interface, its easy to navigate, and all features are where you'd expect to find them. The Camera produces remarkably great images for a phone, and as a predecessor to the new range of smart phones with very high quality cameras, this camera would have led the field. The only issues I found using this phone were the sensitivity of the scroll button in the middle of the phone, which seemed over-sensitive initially, before becoming practically unresponsive towards the end of the phone's life, and secondly, the fact that as soon as you opened the lens cover, the camera came on. Now some people may find that a good thing, as it means the phone becomes a camera quickly, however it meant that every time I pulled the phone from my pocket, there was a chance of the camera being on. In terms of battery life, I never had a problem and despite texting and talking heavily, I'd always get two days battery life from the phone. Summary: Worth a buy as a second hand phone
