Fantastic addition to the Sony Ericsson portfolio (Sony Ericsson K800i)

Advantages: Camera quality is outstanding. Excellent additional features such as mp3 and fm radio

Disadvantages: The slide to the rear of the phone on the camera can become opened in pocket

I initially received this phone as my first ever phone on the 3 network. At the time i received it, the K800i was by far the best camera phone on the market having superseeded the k750. I was astonished at the quality of the images taken by a mobile phone. Being on the 3 network i received a video minutes allowance that enabled me to call friends and talk to them face to face as the k800i has a built in front facing camera as wel as one to the rear. As with all sony ericssons, the generic menu is excellent as is the mp3 playback and the fm radio feature. In terms of aesthetics, this phone isnt all that beautiful to look at. The rear camera has a slide covering it that i often caught in my pocket. Also the central joystick was a little temperamental as time went by as fluff and the contents of my pocket had become lodged inside it, limiting the movement of the joystick. Dont let this put you off though as the positives more than outway the negatives. Since this phone i had stayed loyal to SE however i still use this phone when i travel abroad etc and love using it again!

Summary: Excellent phone and very reliable. I have owned it for nearly 4 years and it still runs perfect
