The most unreliable phone ever! (Sony Ericsson K850i)

When it came to upgrading my contract (so strictly speaking this should be in the category: with contract, but I don't want to talk about my contract) I really wanted to get the new LG Viewty which recently been released.

When they offered me my new contract and i asked to upgrade to the Viewty, the phone operator told me not to get the Viewty because they were having lots of problems with them and told me to get k850i because it was a better phone. On paper this phone seems a top of the range phone, 5 mega-pixel camera, internet capabilities, and video calling.

However, this is so flawed i cannot believe that Sony released it. The buttons are insanely small and texting and more than a few texts a day really hurts your finger tips. Also that stupid directional pad is so difficult to use due to the thinness of it and the blue colour soon rubs of ruining the cosmetic appeal.

These are not however the most irritating things about the phone; the camera is. It is so inconsistent in quality it is infuriating. Night shots are the worst with the flash not being nearly powerful enough to get a decent photo or at other times it is too powerful and makes everything white. Some might say you just need to learn how to use it properly but I have been trying to learn how to use it for 8 months now and there just seems to be no way of using it effectively every time.

Also the phone seems to just confuse itself and turn off every now and again, something you don't expect from a 'top of the range ' phone!

Overall, this phone is not one to go for. For the money it is not good value at all!
