K850i More problems than it solves? (Sony Ericsson K850i)

Advantages: lots of features, 5mp camera, autofocus

Disadvantages: Keys stick, touch sensitive screen

This is the fifth and latest K model phone that I have owned and it has also been the worst. The phone has developed a number of faults and was recently replaced but the second handset is now developing the same problems.

Main issues:
I think the main problem stems from the patial touch screen which often does not register touch on the older phones. It also allows the phone to scroll through the menus if you forget to lock it.

The forums are full of people who have had problems with the keypad. In may case the buttons would get stuck down and the phone would scroll through the menus by itself. It was impossible to send even a text message or call anyone at all.

The button for the camera sticks and sometimes has problems selecting between the camera and video camera. The phone is only six months old but I think it maybe a refurbished one but I have had the problems with two handsets.

Best featues is the still camera which allows you to get some half decent shots of moments you would otherwise miss. Worst point is the video camera which produces very pixelated images.
