Advantages: Good phone and very reliable.
Disadvantages: None
I have had my Sony Ericsson K850i mobile phone for just under a year and overall I am quite impressed with the phone.
The phone is very easy to use in terms of making calls and sending text messages. I find that the 'predictive text' function on the phone is very easy to use. I find that the phone is quite clear and I can hear callers with great clarity and there is no problem with hearing them or with interference.
The phone has a lot of features that you can expect to find on any standard mobile phone, such as a Bluetooth feature, an internet access feature (GPRS), a digital camera feature, an FM radio scanner, Track ID, and an MP3 Player.
I would point out that the camera function on the mobile is second to none, and has five mega-pixels to play with. The picture quality is very clear, particularly when compared to my old phone, but I do find that the photo editor function on the mobile phone really helps to improve my picture quality.
The only problem I find with the camera function on the whole is that the touch screen on the phone makes it quite difficult to 'time' a photo opportunity correctly. The touch screen is quite slow, and this means that timing is crucial when taking a picture, which of course isn't always possible!
The buttons on the phone are easy to use for the most part, although I find them to be a bit smaller than other models of mobile phone that I use on a regular basis, so this might make this model of mobile phone a bit difficult to use for anybody who has hands that aren't particularly small!!
The MP3 feature is really easy to use and I find that it is particularly easy to upload music files onto the phone. I find also that it is easy to select and play music from my phone whereas other phones that I have used before aren't so easy to use.
I would say that the Sony Ericsson is very durable and robust as I know of at least two occasions when the phone has been dropped and it has not sustained any damage to either the screen or the keypad, whereas I think other mobile phones would have.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this Sony Ericsson phone as I have had no major problems with it and I find it very easy to use and all of the features are easy to utilise.
Summary: Good all round phone, very reliable.
