The Sony Ericsson K850i is probably the best phone I have yet to use. The phone was extremely well built, although this did make it a little chunky and heavy. This phone was able to perform all the usual functions you would expect from a phone. At the time of buying this phone I also wanted a camera, so I could take pictures on the go. With this phone it was the perfect compromise. This had two important things I needed in one.

With it being in the Cyber-shot category you can be rest assured that the camera is well made in this phone. Even if I compare its pictures to a 'newer' phone the cameras still can't compete and with the 5 megapixels there is more than enough clarity in the picture. Not only does the nice big screen show the pictures well but put them on your computer and they are just as good as digital camera pictures.

Sadly the major downfall for me was the 3 touch screen buttons. I have always been very dubious of touch screen and this phone only seemed to really put me off touch screen phones. I was out on day in a small shower and had to take my phone out. Obviously rain got onto the screen. This seemed to send the phone crazy and it started to do all sorts of things on its own. In the end that small shower had managed to water damage the phone and the touch screen buttons no longer worked, making this great phone no longer usable.
I will admit that touch screen has come a long way since then so I may change my mind. For me if they remade this phone without touch screen buttons I would 100% buy it as it suited me perfectly.
