Advantages: Great looking, reliable, fun, funky, great MP3 player, easy to use and navigate
Disadvantages: Average battery life, some fiddly buttons, picture quality not amazing
First and foremost, this phone is the best I've ever owned. Sony Ericsson always seem to make really cool looking and acting phones and this is no exception. Really reliable and suitable to me needs.
Looks:
I own the flowery version of this phone and it's really beautiful - I'm always getting compliments on it! Another plus about this phone is the seemingly endless range of lighting effects and background themes available on it - I love the 'everchanging' effect which changes the colour of your menu screens it seems every few minutes - really pretty! Ability to set your own photos as background is fab!
Ease of use:
The layout is the same as a lot of other Sony Ericsson phones I've seen - menu screens are laid out with funky looking icons and animations. The 'slide and lock' style of handset works really well for me as it's unlikely to ring someone unexpectedly in your pocket. The buttons are small but ergonomic enough for you to be able to navigate and type out texts without too much fiddling. One problem I've had is that the internet browser button is very close to the 'back' button on the handset resulting in me putting my phone down without noticing that I've signed on to the internet - expensive!
Extras:
Cool range of games and ringtones but nothing extraordinary. There is the option to add your own MP3s (obviously, being a Sony Ericsson) and turn those into ringtones and message tones which I find really cool! Unfortunately, you do not get a memorycard with this phone and tis restricts you from the amount of games, tones and pictures you can hold on it.
Camera:
Being a 2megapixel camera, it's not amazing quality but it's fine for my needs - if you've got an amazing digital camera you don't really need an amazing camera phone!
Battery:
Lasts a few days - not great. Seems to run in A LOT quicker when searching for signal or when playing MP3s.
Sound:
Really pleasantly surprised with the sound - quite loud for such a small speaker. I've heard Ipod docks with worse sound quality so all round, not bad.
Summary: A really lovely little phone with very few problems - worth the money!
