Advantages: features, battery life
Disadvantages: reflection when used in the sun
As a Nokia fan, when my phone began to fall apart at the seams and I needed a cheap upgrade I decided to try a sony ericsson. This phone was only 40 quid and the specs weren't bad in comparision to the others in the same price bracket.
I liked the look of the phone in its cute silver body and slide up style mechanism. It had 1.3 mp camera, a radio ,blue tooth and a tetris style game built in and I thought, why not.
I've had this phone for almost a year now and it has been really reliable. The battery life is brilliant and provided I do not chat for queen and country on the phone it lasts for many days without needing a charge. It also charges very quickly. The radio when put on loud speaker also produces a good quality sound and I have often used this when doing chores around the house.
It is recommened that you cover the phone with some type of case as the body scratches easily and as i often shove mine in my bag with my keys....it looks like its been in a cat fight.
On the downside, i found it difficult to write text messages on this phone and it clearly was not as easy as it was on my nokia. Also when outside especially if the sun is shining, or the day is bright, the reflection off the screen is quite bad and instead of seeing the number I want to dial I am seeing my reflection instead! Useful if I want to check my hair and makeup, but not if I want to make a call.
Summary: Reialable phone and good value for money
