Premium Review Sony Ericsson V600i: Solid phone (312 words)
by - written on 06/08/08 (Very useful, 31 readings)
Rating:

The phone itself is very chunky and to be honest, looks very brick like. I feel the designers could have put more effort in with the style and overall look. However, the phone does stand up well either upside-down or normally. This is good if you want to utilise the timer feature on the camera. Now; the good points. Feels solid - This is something that's important to me as an individual, but this might not settle well with other buyers. Nice keypad - Big and easy to text quickly from. Packed with features - Lots of stuff here, from Bluetooth remote control, to the Code Memo feature (Lets you store passwords and PIN numbers securely), to the basic alarm and ...  Read the complete review

I was sort of talked into this when my vodafone contract expired and I wanted to upgrade (from a Nokia 6600). It seemed OK and the camera is very good but setting up to get my in car bluetooth handsfree has been a real pain and I have basically given up, am now looking to get back on to a Nokia ASAP. I have also found that whilst the slider to fire up the camera is good, it seems to open fairly regularly when it is in my pocket. I have not yet been able to use the USB cable to download pictures and synchronise with my PC as that was one of the things I wanted to do mainly with it. Not sure if it is me but the battery life is not as good as I had expected after ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sony Ericsson V600i: OK for a freebie (186 words)
by - written on 08/03/06 (Somewhat useful, 401 readings)
Rating:

I was offered one of these on a freebie upgrade on my vodafone contract - I chose it as it had bluetooth. Initially I was quite impressed as I had upgraded from a Nokia 6110 - so being feature packed it was quite a novelty: Best bits: - good camera - I take pictures quite regulalry and they can be easily dowmloaded to PC and are of reasonable quality. -nice clear screen. Bits that annoy me: - the ring volume is too low - I work outside a lot and even at highest setting I sometimes can't hear it - rubbish interface - it's very fiddly - things don't seem to flow. For example if you've had a missed call - the phone shows ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

I recieved this mobile phone for my birthday.I really wanted a flip phone but the ease of use on this phone was spectacular so i prfered this one. The 3G service is really good and as i live in a little town i was suprised to find that the coverage covered me!. The day that i got the phone i charged it up for the 2 hours as it said in the very clearly printed instructions then i was away!! One problem is that you have to send away to get your mobile number. This was a real nuisance because i wanted to give my number to all of my friends! I found out that you get one free month with mobile TV which is really handy. The 1.3 megapixel camera is a little patchy but ...  Read the complete review
