Advantages: Camera, music, lightweight, pretty.

Disadvantages: bad resolution, annoying predictive text.

The sony ericsson W200i is a great phone for many reasons. The first reason that i looked at it is because it's cheap. In our insane technology era, phones are becoming cheaper and cheaper with more and more gadgets, which i appreciate :D . I paid £30 for my phone, and had to put £10 credit on it, but that wasn't a problem because u was going to do that anyway.

The Phone is very nicely designed. It has a large, clear screen, easy to press buttons and a button on the side to take you directly to your music. The memory card slot is small and discrete and easy to use. The central roller button can have different things set to different directions, e.g. press it right to go straight to messages, left to go to missed calls extra. The phone is also extremely light. I bought the pink one, which means that it has a lovely pattern surrounding the screen.

In terms of features, the camera and video recorder are of suprisingly high quality, and playback is sharp and relatively clear, although the quality does deterioate once you transfer it to your computer via the usb cable provided with the phone. The predictive text takes a while to et used to as it is not good at abbreviations, but this is easily overcome. Battery life is excellent, usually lasting me a week or even two before i have to recharge it and my phone is on constantly.

The downsides of this phone are the lack of bluetooth, although there is infrared and GPRS, and the poor screen resolution which you do get used to, but it's not very attractive.

Obviously with this particular phone, the mp3 player is a major selling point for most people. The sound quality is great, the player is easy to control and it is easy to get songs from your computer onto your phone.

In conclusion, this phone is extremely good value for money and does more than you would expect for a phone that only costs £30.

Summary: If you need a cheap phone that does it all... this is it.

This is a good review, which highlights useful info about the phone. What would have made it VU for me is how good it is to make and receive calls, sound quality and what Megapixel the camera is.
